What is Shinji?
Shinji's base moves are Nunchuck Flurry, Body Flicker, Lightning Flash, and Flashstep Fury. Lightning Flash is the documented block bypass. The other three are blockable, and Nunchuck Flurry or Body Flicker can reset Flashstep Fury until a roughly 50-second bar locks the reset. M1s are listed at 15 percent. The ultimate cutscene is Warrior's Grief. Published awakening moves are Iron Onslaught, Lightning Rampage, and Draco Meteor. Volt Drive is named as the fourth move, but its live damage is an unpublished teaser note. The 17 October 2026 update made the character free and added finishers plus at least one Body Flicker variant.

How do you get Shinji?
Free since 17 October 2026. Early Access from 23 March 2025 until that update.
How do you use Shinji?
Use Lightning Flash when they will not stop blocking. Use the Flashstep reset only when the small bar is full. After Body Flicker, expect a sideways evasive. Do not throw Iron Onslaught into a Jun who still has One Inch Punch. Re-test any combo learned before the October 2026 hitbox pass.
