Read the six official inputs, block the first string you see, and ragdoll-cancel with Q. Then learn one character. Martial Legend is the simple kit. Jun has the Piercing Tempest confirm. What changed in [SHINJI] Legends Battlegrounds recently?
- majorFree Shinji and Virus OverlordOn 17 October 2026 at 16:00 UTC, Shinji became free. Virus Overlord entered Early Access. The same update was announced with hitbox improvements. Community footage showed Shinji base finishers, a Body Flicker variant, and Virus Overlord's base kit with two awakening moves and no finishers.
- majorJun becomes free and Shinji launchesOn 23 March 2025 Jun became free and gained Piercing Tempest and One Inch Punch. Shinji launched as Early Access with four base moves and a wall combo. Martial Legend gained Flow State. Pro servers, voice servers, VIP servers, and the killstreak Gold rule were added.
- majorJun's second awakening and the winter mapOn 24 December 2024 Jun gained Phantom Sever and four finishers. VIP added a cape, a title, hide-kills, an arrival message, and 15 percent off Gold prices. A winter map and a smoother ragdoll system shipped with that patch.
- patchJun awakens and Gold is definedOn 7 October 2024 Jun gained Virgule Cascade, the No More Games awakening, and Savage Fangs. The same notes set kill Gold at 10 and introduced the Awakening Outfit gamepass.

What do players ask about [SHINJI] Legends Battlegrounds?
How do I earn Gold?
A normal kill gives 10 Gold. Pro servers, which require 750 kills, add 20 percent extra Gold per kill. An active killstreak of 10 or more also adds extra Gold. VIP cuts Gold shop prices by 15 percent.
Is Shinji free?
Yes. The Free Shinji update scheduled for 17 October 2026 at 16:00 UTC made Shinji a free character. Martial Legend has been free since launch, and Jun has been free since 23 March 2025.
Are there working codes?
No published code list exists, and public checks through October 2026 say this game has no redemption box. Gold comes from kills, not from codes copied out of other Roblox games.
How do I awaken?
The official keybind is G. Awakening spends the ultimate bar and swaps you into that character's ultimate moves for a limited time. Martial Legend's Dragon's Fury is documented at about 60 seconds.
Who can I play without a gamepass?
Martial Legend, Jun, and Shinji. Virus Overlord is the Early Access character that followed free Shinji. Kratos is limited to developers and top donators. Black is listed as the next Early Access character and is not a current unlock.
